As you can tell by the post title, we experienced our first loss tonight. Richmond knocked us off 7-2 as we couldn't seem to get any offense generated. We only managed five all nights and never seemed to be able to solve the riddle of the Flying Squirrels pitcher, Becker. He threw eight strong innings and probably only came out due to a pitch count.
It wasn't my night either since I managed to put up my first O-fer of the season going 0-4. I was making good contact all night but everything seemed to be atom balls. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all.
Tomorrow we welcome the Harrisburg Senators to town so grab your friends and come on out to the park. Hope to see you there.
